Delete Your Data

Learn how to delete your Botago data and account information.

Important Notice

Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you want to proceed before taking action.

Step 1: Delete Local Data

Most of your Botago data is stored locally on your device.

Uninstalling Botago will delete:

  • Your plant collection and greenhouse data
  • Game progress, quests, and achievements
  • App settings and preferences
  • Cached plant identification data

How to Uninstall:

iOS: Press and hold the Botago app icon, tap "Remove App", then "Delete App".

Android: Press and hold the Botago app icon, drag to "Uninstall", and confirm.

Step 2: Request Server Data Deletion

Some data may be stored on our servers for app functionality.

Server-side data that may exist:

  • • Referral code records and reward history
  • • Friend connections (if you added friends)
  • • Support ticket history

To request deletion of any server-side data, please email us at:

Include "Data Deletion Request" in your subject line. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once complete.

Note About Subscriptions

If you have an active Botago Pro subscription, uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel separately:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Botago → Cancel
  • Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Botago → Cancel
